34 and Speirton pls?

Prompt: “That’s okay, I bought two.”

Carwood was woken by the scent of coffee. He tried to wriggle out of the blankets that had wrapped around him, coughing as he did. He spared a thought for the fact that he could smell at all, and then for the fact that his nose was no longer running like a faucet.

“Good morning,” Ron said. He was sitting on a chair near the bed, which was just too far away for Carwood. He waved his arm vaguely in Ron’s direction. Luckily, Ron understood him and moved over to sit by his legs. “Your coffee is on the bedside table.”

He peered over and it was, in fact there, in its paper cup, still steaming slightly. He wriggled to the edge of the bed and carefully grasped the cup. Unfortunately, his angle was lousy and he was still pretty weak. The coffee cup tilted and turned out of his grasp and fell to the floor. Lid first.

Ron sighed. “It’s ok. I bought two. You can have the other one in the living room.” He got up and threw a towel over the mess on the floor.

“Carry me?” Carwood asked. He wriggled out of his blankets and reached out to Ron.

“Fine.” Ron pretended to be irritated, but pressed a kiss to his hairline as he scooped him up and carried him out to the couch.

Carwood leaned against him as he drank his coffee, savoring every drop.
